,, duo is Douglas Wadle and Matt Barbier, tombones etc.  They formed in 2009 with the intention of exploring existing, and developing new, microtonal repertory for the trombone – a task which includes the creation of performance techniques relying non-conventional handslide positions and variable tuning of trigger-valve mechanisms.  They have a secondary interest in promoting works within the American experimental tradition.
