Clinton and Josh take over VanCity for Gridlock 4.0.
Clinton Patterson
A product of honest, old fashioned, southern hospitality, Clinton serves music prepared with the following recipe:
a cup of Atlanta Soul
3 tbsp. Los Angeles Spice
splash of jazz mystery
and an afternoon of California sunshine (1969 vintage)
(a pinch of art school is added to preserve flavor)
He’s too modest: A Bachelors from Georgia Southern University, a Masters from CalArts (where he worked with David Roitstein) a couple of records, countless shows across the country and now a gig teaching kids in LA to love the music hopefully as much as he does.
Rhythm has taken Josh from St. Francis Xavier University to Humber College to the Banff Centre for the Arts and Toronto (his current home base). His debut album “One Window” was released in 2007 and we are currently pressuring him into distributing an EP he wrote last summer: “We all have Something”. He can be found playing pretty much anywhere in Canada with great artists like Valery Gore, Joshua Cockerill, The Outlanders, stop.die.resuscitate, Kate Rogers, Ronley Teper, Sarah Kurtis, Ainsley McNeaney, David Myles, and Laura Barrett.

Joshua Van Tassel
From Josh’s debut record “One Window”: I’m Scared of it all
Also from “One Window”: I’ll never ever come back
We’re pretty excited to hear what these two can do….
